Every bike comes with a helmet, lock, and lights. All E-Bikes come with their charging kit if rented for more than one day.

All about our E-Bikes

  • How they work: The motor is based on pedal-assist, i.e. it amplifies the power from your pedalling (either a little or a LOT, based on what assist level you choose). You can easily click the assist level up and down as you ride along. Otherwise, they ride just like a normal bike.

  • Range: Depends on how much assistance you use (e.g. how many hills, how much pedal-assist you choose, etc). As a rule of thumb, our Classic level E-Bikes cover approx. 50km from 1 charge and our Premium level cover 65km.

  • Speed: The bikes travel at up to 15 mph, depending on the bike. On the flat you’ll usually be cycling at ~15 mph with electrical assistance.

  • Riding style: Comfy! Most of our E-Bikes have a slightly upright cruiser position, but we have a few with a sportier position too (see photos).

  • Brands: Giant or Giant Momentum

  • Who can ride: Anyone aged at least 14 years old who can safely ride a normal bicycle

  • Tech/ model specifics: In our Premium range we offer the Giant Explore E+1 625 w/H and the Giant AnyTour E+2 625 w/H. In our Classic range we offer the Giant Daily Tour E+3 500wH.
